As Vice President of Development, Matt is responsible for managing the development team and providing strategic guidance on projects within Harmony’s portfolio. These responsibilities include close collaboration with internal team members, partners, investors, lenders and state housing agencies amongst others. He thoroughly enjoys the challenges of real estate development in the tax credit industry and has a passion for helping guide and mentor others.
Prior to joining the Harmony Housing Affordable Development team, Matt worked for a number of real estate developers, including commercial, market-rate multifamily, and a significant amount of time with another affordable housing development group where he’s gained exposure to multiple financing vehicles and project types. He also brings considerable experience from his time working for a national tax credit syndicator.
Matt graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction Management. Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife and children, and is an avid sports fan.
Matt lives in a 1920’s Sears and Roebuck home, which he enjoys fixing up and keeping his dog from destroying.
