Changing Lives, One Community at a Time
Who We Are

Harmony Housing Affordable Development (HHAD) is a mission-driven, industry-leading affordable housing developer dedicated to creating safe, high-quality homes for America’s most vulnerable communities. As a wholly owned subsidiary of Harmony Housing, HHAD was established through the strategic acquisition of Greystone Affordable Development’s property development and advisory business, bringing together two of the nation’s most respected names in affordable housing.
With a legacy rooted in service and impact, HHAD specializes in the construction, rehabilitation, repositioning, and recapitalization of affordable housing projects across the country. Our expert team, led by President Tanya Eastwood—former President of Greystone Affordable Development—has developed over 16,725 affordable apartment homes and currently has 8,500 more in various stages of completion across 16 states.
This strategic alignment unites the financial strength and non-profit mission of Harmony Housing with the unparalleled development expertise, resulting in a robust platform capable of delivering sustainable and meaningful housing solutions nationwide. The continued collaboration between HHAD and the Greystone construction management group ensures seamless project execution while expanding our capacity to address the affordable housing crisis.
Harmony Housing was founded in 2014 as a non-profit owner/operator of affordable multifamily communities and has managed a portfolio of over 17,000 units. In 2023, Harmony Housing expanded its mission by acquiring Greystone’s development arm to broaden its impact and scale solutions in the affordable housing space.
Today, HHAD stands at the forefront of affordable housing development, working hand-in-hand with public, private, and nonprofit partners to bring critically needed homes to life—empowering communities and transforming lives through housing.
Our work yields truly life-changing results for the residents of affordable housing, who benefit from new or revitalized housing that’s preserved for the long-term.”
