Steve’s efforts target pre-development, pre-construction, and construction management responsibilities for Greystone’s affordable housing development group. With a focus on preserving existing affordable housing assets, his team works closely with owners, investors, lenders, USDA, HUD, and other state and federal governmental agencies. He provides construction management, real estate development, and financial support to ensure successful repositioning of at-risk affordable housing projects.
Steve has worked in various construction management and multi-family housing development capacities since 2004. Prior to joining Greystone, he spent 10 years assisting with the development, construction, and preservation of multiple affordable and market rate housing projects throughout Indiana. Steve also has over 5 years of experience working as both a special project manager and purchasing manager for a modular home manufacturer specializing in the construction of both single-family and multi-family projects. He is also a certified teacher spending the first 6 years of his early career as a secondary school teacher and coach.
Steve earned his BS in Business Administration from the University of Illinois and Secondary Teaching credentials from Eastern Illinois University. He is also a Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) as well as a Certified Aging-in-Place Professional (CAPS I&II).
