Since joining the team in 2026, Sophia has brought extensive experience in affordable housing development, regional planning, and complex real estate project management. She is no stranger in guiding multifamily housing developments from financing through construction and operational transition, with expertise in mixed-income, preservation, and rehabilitation projects. Sophia has successfully secured and managed diverse funding sources, including Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), historic tax credits, and public financing, while coordinating multi-party stakeholder engagement and occupied rehabilitation efforts.
Prior to her work in real estate development, Sophia served as a planning consultant, supporting government agencies with site planning, capital investment strategies, and master planning initiatives.
She holds a Master of City and Regional Planning from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Environmental Design in Architecture from North Carolina State University.
